Drum tracking reflections
It’s been almost 5 months now since we started recording tracks for my debut album Incredible. But this is a retrospective about the drum recording session.
Gospel Folk Choir, Canberra
Tonight, I drove from Nowra to Canberra to hear The Gospel Folk choir record the important Hallelujah sections for the song You Came. I left really early because the weather was bad and consequently arrived…really early!
Carols in the Park, Holroyd
Two days ago, I was in James Morrisons Studio recording the piano tracks for the album, today I was at the Holroyd Carols in the Park playing with the Merrylands Anglican Church (MAC) band.
Incredible Piano Tracks get recorded in the Studio
Today, I drove to St Ives where I met Ian (Producer) before we made our way up to the studio in Warriewood. The studio itself is in an industrial estate. It seems like an odd place to find a grand piano, but there in the custom built sound proofed studios it was.
